This three dimensional design was inspired by the yin-yang symbol. The interconnection and interdependence of contrary forces in the natural world. The duality of all that exists, such as, male/female, light/dark, hot/cold. Therefore, these are complementary and not really opposing forces. One could not exist without the other. These forces interact to form a greater whole. 24k gold vermeil and oxidized sterling silver, accented with onyx and garnets, play off each other, creating this striking, contemporary yet classic look. With the option to either hang the yin-yang pendant from an oxidized chain or with a beaded necklace with both onyx and red jasper as shown in the photo.
